Among the many various gaming mice that we have available today, we look at several different mice that are fine–tuned for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and other first person shooter games. Many mice on this list contend for the number one spot, but we aim to find the best. All of these mice contain flawless optical sensors, robust designs, and extreme user friendliness. All of these gaming mice have been tested at our HQ to find the best Counter-Strike mouse of 2018.
Before you decide to buy a new gaming mouse for CS:GO, it is important that the mouse fits your hand perfectly; it has to be comfortable enough for long-term use. Also, the DPI (Dots Per Inch) plays a big role. The DPI is a measurement of a mouse’s sensitivity.
|1||FinalMouse Pro 2016|
1. FinalMouse Pro
[Score 10/10] The FinalMouse Pro 2016 gaming mouse is without a doubt the best CS:GO gaming mouse on the market. It has the best tracking I’ve ever seen, and is, so far, the best gaming mouse I’ve ever used for an FPS game. It is great all around outside of FPS games, but a game like CS:GO is where you really can feel the magic. The smooth ambidextrous design makes it possible for anyone to use the mouse without any problems, and I am a fan of these ambidextrous shapes.
The FinalMouse Pro 2016 is specially made for professional eSports athletes. No gimmicks, no frills, just pure performance. Just like the FinalMouse Ergo, it has the flawless Avago 3310 sensor. The sensor on this mouse is one of the best on the market and it shows its precision in games. Personally, I have never had any complaints about the sensor when I was testing it for a few days about one month ago… Full review available soon
2. Zowie EC1-A
[Score 9.7/10] I played a couple deathmatches on CS:GO with the Zowie EC1-A and I can hardly find any fault with it (aside from those annoying side buttons). When it came down to it, the EC1-A was really impressive in action: easy to move, solid accuracy, and a comfortable hold.
A very solid reliable and durable gaming mouse while maintaining a light weight design. It boasts a five button design, all of which are programmable. It’s perfect for quick installation on any computer due to the plug and play interface. It is an improvement on its predecessor the EC1 as several issues have been addressed. The sleek coating handles extensive use and sweaty palms. Spec wise, the mouse boasts four pre-set DPI settings which are changeable via a button on the underside. These are 400, 800, 1600 and 3200DPI which will more than meet most needs. All in all, this is a great budget mouse providing very good value for money… Read full Review
3. Razer Deathadder Chroma
[Score 9.5/10] This Razer DeathAdder Chroma scores well when it comes to its ergonomic design. Also, it’s an ideal CS:GO gaming mouse. You will fall in love with its contours and curves. Many users have praised its iconic right-handed intuitive ergonomic design. Praised by many professional gamers the Razer DeathAdder Chroma is a well know gaming mouse. It boasts a 10000 DPI optical sensor which enables amazing accuracy with zero interpolation.
The DPI may be manipulated temporarily by a linked key on a Razer keyboard. The optical sensor is also capable opf measuring the smallest shift of 1mm on the z-axis. It is designed with ergonomics in mind and ease of use. To aid in grip and performance there are rubberised grips on either side of the mouse all brought together with a sleek matt black finish. While the price tag may not be as budget as some of the other mice listed here, the features and performance more than make up for that. Meaning it is a great addition to a gamer setup... 4. Zowie FK1
[Score 9.3/10] Are you looking for a killer gaming mouse without all the flashy features that might get in the way of your next kill in the middle of a CS:GO game? Well, then the Zowie FK1 could be your next gaming mouse for CS:GO, with a classic mouse shape that is comfortable and functional. Actually, I have been using this mouse for CS:GO gaming for a few months after I threw my Mad Catz R.A.T.9 one time when I got mad and broke it (yes pretty stupid), but I’m very glad I did. After I moved over to the FK1, my aim improved significantly and as a result, I performed better. At first sight, it’s a simplistic yet beautiful gaming mouse.
The FK1 is a larger design, increased by 2mm in all dimensions from the past versions. The size is noticeable but the mouse maintains a good shape in your hand. The finish to the mouse surface is akin to the more costly mice such as the Razer DeathAdder in the sense that it is grainy and aids grip well. The FK1 maintains its buttons and good click performance. The FK1 does boast an improved optical sensor which detects better than the past versions. However, it does not fare well on uneven surfaces. A good mouse for the price, but it’s just that a good mouse.… Read full review
5. Logitech G303
[Score 8.8/10] The Logitech G303 gaming mouse is a right-hand design mouse with 6 programmable buttons, which makes it one of the best Counter-Strike mice on the market. However, the side buttons are only on the left, which is a bit odd, as it really could be on both. It feels okay in my slightly larger hand, although I don’t think the button positioning will give any problems to smaller-handed players. The shape is a little “edgy”, literally, in that it has annoying, sharp protrusions on the side that can be extremely awkward if your hands aren’t just the right size. Switching to a claw grip will probably solve that issue, though. It’s weighted a little too much at the back in my opinion, but to each his own.
The Logitech G303 gaming mouse does not feature Logitech’s Fusion technology to increase the maximum tracking speed, so you’re capped out at about 120 inches per second. This isn’t bad by any means, but nowhere near top grade. The software for this mouse isn’t bundled, and I had to download it from Logitech’s website. The options are pretty standard: button binding, profile-to-game binding, DPI cycling/shift settings, and some lighting options for the logo and sides (including a very cool breathing effect option)… Full review available soon

6. Rival 300
[Score 9.3/10] The Rival 300 from SteelSeries is a very humble CS:GO gaming mouse made from quality materials with what seems to be an appropriate price. The Rival 300 is an optical mouse with the Pixart PMW331 sensor. The sensor is pretty awesome and flawless, which makes it perform with high precision, even for small movements. My personal experience is that it fits a palm grip more than a claw grip, but it can work with both.
Using this mouse for CS:GO gaming is incredible. It’s very similar to the Rival 100, but I prefer this one because it’s a bit larger and feels more comfortable in my hand. It has 6 buttons which are very responsive, an important feature when playing an FPS game. When I’m playing CS:GO, I use my Zowie FK1, but this one is a superb alternate choice for gaming. The software allows an enormous range of adjustment, customization, and it also works flawlessly on OS X El Capitan and Yosemite… Full review available soon
7. Logitech G402
[Score 9.3/10] The Logitech G402 is a fast gaming mouse, offering a 1 MS report rate. However, you may not really get the 1 MS rate, but it will be close, at around 1.3 MS. This makes it a great gaming mouse for CS:GO. As far as the design is concerned, it looks nice with a matte finish that avoids sweating, as well. However, the placement of buttons may or may not be pleasing to you (depends on the player). The Logitech G402 is perfect for competitive gaming because it very light; that’s the actual reason Logitech made the G402. The main goal was to build the most perfect FPS gaming mouse they could.
It has 8 programmable buttons that include left, right, forward, backward, DPI changer, and more. You can program each of the buttons given on the mouse as per your ease of playing different games. The software is outstanding, with easy to configure settings that let you create different profiles. You can create multiple profiles and use them with your favorite games. Moreover, the mouse has its own memory in which it stores some of the profiles you configure while programming the mouse. Just carry the mouse with you and play the game without installing the software… Read full review
8. Mionix Castor
[Score 8.9/10] The Mionix Castor gaming mouse is best suited for people with fairly large hands, as it easily accommodates both the claw grip and the palm-style grip. Users with smaller hands will still have a great time using this mouse, but the number of possible grips decreases. A good feel around the mouse is very important when playing CS:GO. One thing that definitely deserves praise about this optical mouse is the fantastic rubber coating. Not only does it help to increase your accuracy in the game, but it also has anti-sweat properties, which make your hands stay dry even in the heat of battle.
The Mionix Castor gaming mouse features a total of six programmable buttons, with the state-of-the-art mechanical switches. We have to say that their action is among the best we ever tested. It feels snappy, precise, and gives a very distinct mechanical feedback that you just don’t get with some other mice out there, and that’s very important for a CS:GO gaming mouse. This feeling is further emphasized by the PMW-3310 gaming optical sensor. It has no positive or negative acceleration and sports a maximum speed of 5.45m/sec. Users can adjust the DPI up to 10,000, and the built-in memory can hold 5 profiles – enough to accommodate for various game genres and styles… Read full review
9. Corsair M65
[Score 8.9/10] I know what you guys are thinking. A laser mouse for an FPS game? Trust me, once you play with this Corsair M65 gaming mouse, you’ll really feel how great this mouse is considering that it is a laser mouse. The reason behind this is the strong, yet light, aluminum frame. This frame makes it really durable and strong enough to handle some beating from the gamers. On the bottom, there are detachable weights that offer full customization according to a gamer’s requirement.
This mouse is built to be the ultimate CS:GO gaming mouse. The Pixart PMW 3310 sensor has 8,200 DPI sensitivity, which means that it can be moved with the highest possible precision on larger screens. On the side, there is a dedicated button for sniper mode. This button automatically decreases the DPI of the mouse to give the proper sensitivity, which is required for aiming. There are a lot of lighting options present in this mouse. You could easily choose from 16.8 million colors that could be set in three different zones on the mouse… Read full review
10. Logitech G502
[Score 9.0/10] The Logitech G502 as #10? Yes, I know what you’re thinking. How can the Logitech G502 be number 10? The Logitech G502 is notoriously not a CS:GO mouse; it’s just too heavy. It cannot compete with gaming mice like the Zowie EC1-A, Razer Deathadder, and the FinalMouse Pro 2016 when it comes to being the best FPS gaming mouse.
Logitech is a well-known brand that has pleased many across the globe. The G502 features unique design and comfort. It boasts an astounding eleven buttons all of which are easy to access and respond well to presses. These buttons include a left click button, a right click button, a scroll wheel with clickable functions in three directions, two DPI buttons, three buttons are on thumb size, and two are below the scroll. All of which are customizable through the Logitech software, as well as being able to customize the illumination and DPI range 200 – 12000. Three profiles may also be saved. All in all an outstanding mouse with great features and usability... Read full review
