The latest installment of the long-running series of 3D fighters, in its recent “Sorrow And Rage” trailer, revealed its release date of June 2th this year, along with the announcements of the season pass and preorder bonuses.
The season pass will include three content packs, each with new playable characters, new stages, a new game mode, costume packs, and a bonus 35-piece Metallic Costume Pack. So far there has been no pricing of the individual DLC’s but the whole season pack, on steam will set you back 25$.
Players who preorder the game will gain access to Eliza, “The famed vampire character that made her Tekken debut in Tekken Revolution.” According to the Tekken 7 listings, this bonus is not exclusive, and that preordering will just grant access to you “before anyone else.” However, it is not known whether or not she will be playable later or if she will be a DLC character.
And of course, there was the announcement of the Tekken 7 collector’s edition. It will include a special case, the game’s soundtrack, and a 12-inch-tall statue of Kazuya fly-kicking Heihachi in mid-air. Sadly, this is only for the console version of the game. Which sucks for anyone wanting it, but also being a PC player.
