1. Logitech G900

Skærmbillede 2016-03-29 kl. 15.41.12 (1)

[Score: 10/10] The Logitech G900 Chaos Spectrum is ideal for eSports gamers just because Logitech puts great effort to make it a truly professional gaming mouse that can be wireless or wired. Performance wise, it is one of the fastest gaming mice gamers will ever use. The speed and responsiveness of the mouse are due to the Pixert PMW3366 optical sensor. This sensor is one of the industry’s finest because of the exceptional tracking accuracy, which is considered to be one of the best gaming mouse sensors. At 200-12,000 DPI, there is zero smoothing or filtering, and tuck makes the mouse responsive and enables control at any speed.

As always, I’m testing the mice with CS:GO games, and I have to say that Logitech did it again! If you want my personal opinion, the Logitech is so far the best wireless gaming mouse of 2016 for FPS games. It has amazing feel and is very responsive.  I really like the scroll wheel with this whole alike design, which is actually a weight reduction measure. One last thing about the scroll wheel is that it finally has a left and right scroll-click besides the regular middle click, which is a rare sight in this segment. It wasn’t useful while I tested it on CS:GO and Day Of Defeat, but certainly in productivity.. Read full review

2. Zowie FK2

Zowie FK2

[Score: 9.7/10] This is not the best looking gaming mouse on the market, but the Zowie FK2 with the amazing Avago 3310 sensor is one of the best gaming mice for FPS. The new Zowie features improved button latency, which is one of the main reasons many people are purchasing it. The company behind Zowie, BenQ, says that it’s between 10-20ms faster than its predecessor. I would say that this is definitely a good purchase if you’re trying to rank up in CS:GO… Full review available soon

4. Logitech G502 Proteus Core

Logitech G502 Proteus Core

[Score: 9.2/10] Logitech is one of the top brands that has pleased gamers across the globe with some of the best gaming mice with optical or laser sensors. Every Logitech mouse that is labeled as an FPS gaming mouse has something unusual/unique for gamers. And, Logitech G502 Proteus Core gaming mouse is unique per design and comfort. It has a moderate size with enough room for the gamers who want a mouse with a good palm grip and claw grip.

All 11 buttons are cleverly arranged on this mouse so that a gamer can easily use them. These buttons include a left click button, a right click button, a scroll wheel with clickable functions in three directions, two DPI buttons, three buttons are on thumb size, and two are below the scroll. The button just below the scroll wheel can be used to fine-tune the mouse’s friction, and this button is not programmable. The scroll wheel is super-fast with free scrolling and click-to-click responsiveness features. It is solid enough to make you feel that an action is actually performed when you click it in any of the supported directions.. Read full review

6. Logitech G402

Logitech G402 Hyperion Fury FPS Gaming Mouse Review

[Score: 8.6/10While starters want a gaming mouse in which they can easily differentiate buttons to perform actions, the Logitech G402 Hyperion Fury FPS is not perfect at this level. For example, backward and forward buttons look identical without many differences, and this is the reason sometimes it is hard to identify which button has to be pressed. However, this will be the issue only when you switch to this mouse. Once you have used it for a few days, this problem should not be on your list.

After all, what matters more when picking up the best FPS gaming mouse is the speed, ease of changing DPI, high DPI, more buttons, and programming features that lets you program different buttons on the mouse as per your ease. One more thing that matters for a gamer is profiled memory within the mouse so that you can take it anywhere and use your favorite settings done with mouse buttons. With these aspects, Logitech G402 Hyperion Fury stands in a good position.. Read full review

7. Mionix Castor

Mionix Castor MNX-01-25001-G Gaming Mouse Review

[Score: 8.2/10The Mionix Castor MNX-01-25001-G is an ergonomic mouse developed by the well-respected Swedish manufacturer of high-performance gaming accessories. It was designed specifically to be used by right-handed gamers and features state-of-the-art hardware that guarantees a top-tier performance.

This FPS mouse is most suited for people with fairly large hands, as it easily accommodates both the claw grip and the palm-style grip. Users with smaller hands will still have a great time using this mouse, but the number of possible grips decreases. One thing that definitely deserves praise about this optical mouse is the fantastic rubber coating. Not only does it help to increase your accuracy, but it also has anti-sweat properties, which make your hands stay dry even in the heat of battle.. Read full review

Same story – sane companies – almost the same models – A4tech gaming series does not exist / Shogun Bros does not exist / Mad Catz gaming mice also non existent. And for your journalistic habits “best mouse” does not really exist, anyone has the best mouse – I play now Dirty Bomb with my R.A.T. 7 last revision (6400 DPI – laser with no prediction ..or at least is so small that I cant feel it..) and constantly outclass those “best fps gamer mouse”. Before R.A.T. I’ve show them some precision with an A4Tech X7F3 V-Track technology.

    • Arran

I had the R.A.T. Weird mouse shape, I do not reccommend it.

      • nemesioansorin

hah, ..he do not recommend – based on shape – hey readers do not buy before you inform about your mice. Personally I would like to recommend RAT7 – for me was the best shape I can get – beside that is one of the most tunable mouse – but I will not recommend it right now because in the meantime RAT Pro S is out – 5000 DPI, optical and cheaper than RAT7..just about 70$

        • LC303

          nigger dick

          • nemesioansorin

Now that’s an opinion – that’s the Humankind evolution …thousands of years of natural selection until the wisdom come over all ..

        • Ron

I love how you mention the DPI… If you’re playing with more than 800 DPI, you’re probably getting dumpstered by decent players.

          • nemesioansorin

…well R.A.T.7 has 6400 and is the third batch of the Philips TwinEye with corrected raw data input .. negative / positive acceleration may be so small, I can’t feel. On games, I never used more than 1600 CPI / DPI ..usually I play in between 400 and 800 ..never mind you can use 1600 DPI in game if you use a lower sensitivity – for example 400 DPI and 14 to 16 game sensitivity or 1600 with 5 to 6.5 is the same deal .. I know there in the wild is a myth with 400 DPI to 800 DPI (CS:GO champions) I am not a subscriber for such stories. What is important is in game sense (having enabled more DPI read more information from the surface therefore the movement is smoother).

for more about DPI relevance look here :

You’re too funny, going on so many articles about gaming mice, trying to convince people to review and try sub-par products.

Wonder if you work for these gimmicky mice companies or just trying to convince yourself that you made the good buying decision.

      • nemesioansorin

me ? funny ? .. haha that’s really funny – it is funny cos if you know something in this world, any funny character will tell you – hey funny you are. From this perspective I can tell you – stay calm I have a lot of fun after few years of sourcing in China ( I mean I lived there long periods of time ). After I’ve visited a lot of factories, I can tell you that all companies nominated in this article do their ‘sweet smelly things’ in China / Shenzhen .. Logitech when they started their company they copied A4tech best models (A4Tech is from Taiwan btw).

The mother of the funny things is that the large mass know only few brands because of aggressive marketing, what’s behind the horizon is ‘terra incognita’ for the most – but they know everything. On my side, I was curious about real performance of other companies not just about nice commercials.

if you will follow this path .. you will find a lot of unknown gaming mice which can stand against those few companies you see everyday on every wall ( because they use same sensors and quite the same plastic). There is no rocket science as they may want you to believe.

A4tech mice and keyboards from the Bloody series cant stand anytime against ..those super-companies check their Bloody website .. btw they use the same sensors as those ‘big names’.

Also check for Func Mouse or Roccat mice family or Dream Machines or Thermalike family or Shogun Bros MK1 on Google .. and you will see they use quite the same technologies and sensors as those ‘well-known names’ from the list in this article. Personally I can salute only Zowie from the whole list..

Btw, I am not working for them .. I just buy their products ..sometime at a higher price than probably you buy from the current list .. in few days RAT X+ will be officially launched and I think I will get it around 200 USD.

        • Post a video to prove how well you play with your RAT 7, otherwise you are just giving the brand bad rep.

          • nemesioansorin

First : I actually play Urban Terror and rarely Dirty Bomb. I am not sure if my hardware can record well Dirty Bomb game since they (Spash Damage) destroyed the game with last patches .. my framerate goes from ~260 FPS to an average of ~38 .. I play on a Dell Optiplex 7010 with i7 CPU / 1 GB Radeon HD graphic card and 8 GB Kingston fast RAM memory ..any game works well DB not anymore therefore I will leave that game in the dust .. at 30+ frames per second you can’t really play. .

Second : thanks for not using usually f* words in your reply, every suburban, uneducated child becomes alpha male on this big ‘Internet of things’ (yep thanks to ..anonymity) at least at the language level.

Some of them as LC303 ..without name can demonstrate things with “nigger dick”, Aram for example think that with his sentence with a single arguable argument, he can place the point over the “i” letter. On his case ‘weird mouse shape’ is so subjective and he does not bring any logic to support his claim – there are a lot of custom options – the pinkie rest, different palm rests. Finally he told us he has R.A.T. but not the model number .. 1,3,5,7 ? – I know it is hard to remember such things they are just printed on top of the mouse you can see just 2 examples on comments section where peoples demonstrate lack of logic and at least one of them demonstrate lack of normal childhood / mutual respect / minimal common sense.

Third: I can’t get the point where I ‘give the brand a bad reputation’ ( ?? please point me to that ..) . I am still waiting to see where (and how) I give the brand a bad name see, a brand is an abstract object made from ‘people trust’ – I may be wrong / ugly but that does not mean auto-magically R.A.T. brand is bad 😉 .

Finally, I’ve found some screenshots from 7 month ago (the date of my reply).

In game, I’ve used ‘mad.catz.rat’, ‘R.A.T.7’ and later ‘Ace Aventura’ as ‘nom de guerre’. Here some screenshots from that period .. I kept few or them for a tutorial about DB objective gameplay – a showcase for ‘not K/D is important but objective’, so you can see we lost matches killing more and having better levels than our enemy.

For videos related to RAT7 in game performance you can check some on youtube here :

there are also many good (german) videos about RAT7 performance in game ..just search for them on youtube.

          • Ron

lmfao… lvl 20 vs a bunch of lvl 5’s. I could do that with a free mouse that come with store bought computers.
